ABOUT

Throughout my work experience as an occupational therapist, I gained a tremendous appreciation for anatomy and understanding how the conditions of our environment affect our movement, posture and overall well-being.  The demands of our work environment,  how we position ourselves throughout the day as well as how we actually think and  feel  about ourselves, all affect our posture and our musculoskeletal system.  Considering all these factors and how they influence our body, I was driven to create OTBodyinMotion.

OTBodyinMotion recognizes the importance of movement and how it impacts our body.  Driven by my belief that movement is crucial to a healthy body I also became a Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor to compliment my work as an Occupational Therapist.  I now combine all disciplines to create a holistic approach to help people achieve their goals whether it be in the area of motor skills, learning, attention, exercise, self-esteem, endurance, strengthening, posture, balance, coordination or simply getting back in shape and moving better for better quality of life.

With over 10 years of experience in the pediatric field, I discovered the power of occupational therapy treatment when provided collaboratively with family members and how it optimizes therapy outcomes. Many children can benefit from occupational therapy services but do not receive services either because they do not have a diagnosis, have been discontinued from services, do not qualify under the standards of the school or health care system or are on waiting lists. Working with babies, toddlers and school age children my goal is to offer the best services possible to help your child achieve his/her goals. I currently offer private occupational therapy services in a sensory gym or in your home or school setting in Jerusalem. I also work as a personal trainer for adults while utilizing my background in the area of Occupational Therapy as well as Pilates and offer individual or small group training sessions in the Jerusalem area.

Our mission is to create opportunities for adults and children to improve their functional performance and achieve their goals for better living. Movement impacts both our physical and emotional well-being. Much of what makes us feel good depends on our mindset, being active, as well as our quality of movement. Our goal is to help you achieve optimal movement for a healthy body and sound mind.
