Cogmed Training is for children starting at age 4 and adults that demonstrate difficulties in areas related to working memory. When working memory skills improve, there is also improvement in attention, impulse control and executive function.
WHAT EXACTLY IS WORKING MEMORY?
Working memory is often linked to ADHD and other learning disabilities that relate to attention and focus. Working memory is the ability to concentrate and retain information in your mind for several seconds in order to follow instructions, remember what you read, sequence a task, focus on a task without getting easily distracted, plan, organize and structure your daily activities.

Cogmed Working Memory Training is an evidenced-based computerized training program designed by leading neuroscientists. It is a 5-10 week training program that can be done in the comfort of your home or in a school setting. This training program is designed to improve attention by increasing working memory capacity and has demonstrated positive effects on children and adults with ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Brain Injury or Stroke.
Children and adults that have a weak working memory, present with attention problems and poor academic and professional performance. As you train your working memory, you will improve your ability to stay focused, plan next steps, remember instructions, and start and finish tasks. Research studies show that Cogmed Training does improve working memory capacity and has lasting effects on the user to better function, attend, plan and organize in his/her environment. This program is web based and compatible on any computer that supports flash. Cogmed is a 5-10 week computerized program for children and adults that have a difficult time maintaining attention, retaining information, following commands, organizing and more. This program can be done in the comfort of your home or with a provider.
